MISJA PEKEL – REGISSEUR VAN THE INSIDES OF OUR LIVES
Misja Pekel is a Dutch documentary filmmaker. His first documentary, about judges ruling on the future of refugees and migrants, premiered at IDFA in 2008. In the following years, he (co-)directed many documentaries for the Dutch broadcasting cooperation, some of which were selected for international festivals. His work is characterized by an urge to understand and visualize the inner world of others.
ANNE JAN SIJBRANDIJ – REGISSEUR VAN NUSA INA
Anne Jan Sijbrandij is a documentary filmmaker whose work explores the intersection of intergenerational trauma, impermanence and identity within the complex history of Indonesia. This is also the country where his family history is buried. With a profound dedication to uncovering untold stories, Anne Jan hopes that his films can serve as a platform for marginalized voices.
