In the past periode we also silently followed the developments surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic. In doing so, we have come to the conclusion that it will not be desirable to organize Plons! this autumn in its original form (watching documentary all together in the cozy space of a ship). That is why we decided to move the entire film festival to spring. From 2-4 April 2021, when nature slowly emerges again after a long Frisian winter, Scheepsatelier Eestroom will be mooring in the city center of Leeuwarden with a wood stove, local beers and a good dose of crackling beautiful quality documentaries! From this edition on, Plons! will take place in the first weekend of April annually. So put this weekend in your agenda forever and we will see you on board! For now: stay healthy and see you in spring! 2-4 april 2021! Vanaf deze editie zal Plons! bovendien jaarlijks plaatsvinden in het eerste weekend van april. Dus zet dit weekend in je agenda tot sint juttemis en we zien jullie aan boord in de lente! Voor nu: behouden vaart en blijf gezond!
For all filmmakers: the deadline for submitting films has now passed. We will take all the submitted films with us to the spring edition. Our notification date will also be postponed, and the announcement of our selection is on February 1, 2021 at the latest. 1 februari 2021.
